This tea has a smooth mouthfeel, with a harmonious balance of umami and acidity, and is characterized by its slightly rich and full-bodied flavor. A gentle sweetness of rice subtly spreads in the mouth, and because it is made with edible rice, the aroma of rice gently wafts through the nose. Its color is a translucent golden hue, like rice stalks, and it can be enjoyed as if you were eating rice.

Organic JAS is an organic standard for agricultural products (raw materials), and organic certification for alcoholic beverages requires separate certification from a domestic organic certification body.

Our AKIRA product received certification from JONA (Japan Organic & Natural Foods Association) in 2001, and we continue to undergo annual reviews and renewals.

Furthermore, this sake has received organic certification in various parts of the world, including ICEA certification in Europe in 2007 (later changed to EU certification), USDA certification in the United States in 2010, and COR certification in Canada in 2014.
