Yamazaki 18 Years is a full-bodied whisky with an overwhelmingly mature character. It is crafted by blending whisky aged in sherry casks and Mizunara oak casks, then carefully finishing it with sherry cask-aged whisky aged for over 18 years.
Its color is a reddish amber. The mouthfeel is reminiscent of aged brandy, with an impressive aroma of sweet dried fruits like raisins and roasted chocolate, derived from the sherry cask maturation. It possesses a honey-like sweetness, along with a sense of maturity and depth from the long-aged Mizunara oak cask spirits. The complex flavor profile, where multiple cask aromas intertwine, leaves a variety of tastes lingering on the tongue.

Yamazaki Distillery is located in Yamazaki, Mishima District, Osaka Prefecture, on the border with Kyoto Prefecture. Since its founding in 1924 as Japan's first authentic whisky distillery, it has continued to lead the history of Japanese whisky.
